Marcus Muller advises individuals and companies on commercial, corporate, and technology-related disputes, as well as in international business law. A particular focus of his practice lies in international proceedings and cross-border disputes with a connection to German and Swiss law.
He has extensive experience in international arbitration as well as before German and Swiss courts. His mandates include investment disputes – including shareholder disputes – cross-border commercial and supply chain disputes, and payment-related disputes. He also advises on technology-related matters, in particular disputes involving software, platforms, and digital infrastructure.
Marcus Muller supports his clients throughout all stages of proceedings – from preventive structuring and negotiation to the enforcement of their claims in court.
He studied law and economics at the University of Bayreuth with additional training in business and earned his doctorate on the topic of litigation financing in England and Germany. After completing his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Cologne, he was admitted to the German Bar (Cologne Bar Association) in November 2024. He further gained experience in international law firms handling cross-border mandates. Since June 2025, he has been listed as a European lawyer (pursuant to Art. 28 BGFA) in the Canton of Zurich. Marcus Muller speaks German, English, and French.
